A wide angle view of Russia & the former USSR
February 18, 2008
As any worthwhile blog, Soviet Russia has a complete about page. Therefore, no introductory post should be necessary… however, I wouldn’t like to start posting without placing a kind of foundating stone as a welcome message.
As the header paragraph goes: “Soviet Russia is an inquisitive look at Russia and the former Soviet Union aiming to inform and entertain covering a wide range of topics”.
So, if you share such curiosity, this is your place. Welcome.

Soviet Russia in your e-mail

r8xOac Hi from Russia!
The financial councellor of Reagan discovered how the Soviet (USSR) system was financed, Russia owned 5 private Banks in Europe, USA blocked the transfers of currencies between them and with the help of the Saudis kept the price of Oil (main USSR export) at an alltime low for two years turning the Soviet system bankrupt. USA then started to take control of the Russian Oil production resources and economy by corrupting the leaders (now the Oligarchs) teaching them how to turn the country resources to their own profit by privatizing.—Then when V.Putin came to power he had no choice but turn Khodorkosky to Jail preventing him from selling shares of Yukos to American Oil multinationals restauring this way the main resource of Russia
